Media pre-registration is now open. Your registration is not transferable and is valid only when presented together with the holder’s ID. Press passes are strictly for journalists and not for advertising or publishing representatives.
Interested medias may pre-register for MICE West Africa 2017.
The deadline for registering is 20 Noverber 2017.
Members of the press may also register onsite from Monday 12th to Wednesday 21st November from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the media registration counter at MICE West Africa International Forum and Expo, Conference Centre Accra. You will either need to present a press pass, a business card or an appropriate letter of authority from an editor or publisher.
Media Accreditation MICE West Africa 2017: Rules & Guidelines
For onsite media accreditation, the following rules will be adhered to:
Before giving out a media pass to attend MICE West Africa, Street of Gold Foundation (Ghana) shall request proof of the applicant’s relevant journalistic and editorial status. Either of the two following items may be submitted as proof on site at Accra Conference Centre:
- An official Press card issued by a recognized (for example, national) association of journalists.
- A business (name) card showing the applicant’s journalism position.
Free media passes onsite will be granted based on the following guidelines:
Only media with an editorial designation will be allowed in. Street of Gold Foundation Ghana reserves the right to refuse entrance without stating reasons. Any journalist admitted to MICE West Africa who is subsequently found to be soliciting for business or selling advertising will be asked to leave. Non-editorial media representatives can gain full access to MICE West Africa by pre-registering online or registering onsite as a trade visitor. Trade visitor status entitles you access to all official MICE West Africa areas and events for three days, 23 – 25 November, 2017, inclusive.

Press Bags are available at our media stand at Accra International Conference Centre. During the show for exhibitors to deposit press material for the media. A press pigeon-hole at the Media Stand, for the distribution of your press material, can be reserved online free of charge.
